Bio
Hi! I’m Gracie--a storyteller from the small town of Marianna, Florida, now located in Atlanta, Georgia, where I am a current member of the 2021-2022 Apprenticeship Company for The Shakespeare Tavern Playhouse.
In the Spring of 2020, I graduated with my B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from the University of West Florida. During my time in undergrad, I had the pleasure of participating in The Irish Experience: a study abroad program in Ireland where I studied Irish mythology and found a love for physical storytelling performing a drama called The Wooing of Etain (Etain) upon my return to the states., (Summer ‘19). Some of my UWF credits include: Othello (Emilia), Dearly Departed (Suzanne), A Christmas Carol (Past/Doll Vendor),The Seagull (Nina), and The Skin of Our Teeth (Sabina).

I want to provide someone with the opportunity to leave their life momentarily to feel the experiences and realities of another’s. I believe in the power of recognizing life beyond our worldview. We must actively push ourselves to grow and evolve as a person. This involves both having and witnessing conversations that evoke a wide range of emotions: euphoria, eroticism, sorrow, pain, grief, discomfort, joy, grace, disgust, fear, anticipation, sympathy . . . The list is never-ending. These conversations are best had through the art of storytelling, whatever that medium may be. And as a storyteller, it is my responsibility to portray these moments authentically—as if they were my own.
